Two very big boys.

Jamie Benn and Nikita Zadorov throwdown in heavyweight scrap.

There's nothing quite like seeing two large athletes pummeling one another on the ice.

Fighting may no longer be as prevalent in hockey as it once was but we still do get some scraps in the National Hockey League from time to time, and every once in a while they are still pretty decent. On Sunday the matchup between the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars featured one of those fights and this time around it was two heavyweights going toe to toe.

Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn is by no means a small man but the challenger for the Blackhawks was an even bigger man in the form of defenseman Nikita Zadorov. Benn was actually giving up a considerable size advantage in this one with Zadorov being both several inches taller and several pouds heavier than his opponent, but once the fight got under way that seemed to matter very little.

Benn appeared to get the better of the bigger man throughout the exchange and, although it was a relatively short time before the officials stepped in, it seemed clear to me that he had done more damage than Zadorov by the time the final bell had rung.

You can judge for yourself however, here's the replay.
