Winnipeg Jets forward Andrew Copp was one of the more productive forwards for the team during last year's shortened 2020-21 NHL campaign, tallying 15 goals and 24 assists. And his organization saw fit to bring him back for another crack at the can.

The Jets have officially announced that they've re-signed the Ann Arbor, MI native to a one year contract worth a reported $3.6 million:

After being selected by the Jets in the fourth round (104th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft, Copp has appeared in 411 games for Winnipeg over the course of four seasons, racking up 61 goals and 88 assists along with 74 PIM over the course of that time.

He also has international experience, having represented the United States at the 2014 World Junior Championships and the 2017 World Championships.
