Visitation information announced for the late Jimmy Hayes

The hockey world continues to come to grips with the shocking passing of former Boston Bruins forward Jimmy Hayes at the young age of 31. 

Hayes was found in his Milton, MA home by police and first responders. While the official cause of death isn't yet known, police don't believe it to be of a suspicious nature. 

Almost immediately, several NHL clubs penned tributes to the late Hayes, along with several touching tributes from the Bruins, for whom he played two seasons. Several players also reached out to express their condolences on social media. 

Information has been released regarding visitation for those who are looking to pay their respects to the late Hayes and his family. 

Hayes appeared in 334 games in the NHL for four teams. He scored a total of 54 goals and 109 points for the Blackhawks, Panthers, Bruins, and Devils. Since last playing professionally, he had cohosted a podcast with fellow former NHLers Shane O’Brien and Scottie Upshall called “Missin Curfew".
