This just in, the Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Colton Sceviour to a professional try-out (PTO) contract.

Check it out:

The 32 year old forward put up five goals and 10 points in 46 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season. Prior to that he spent four seasons with the Florida Panthers and parts of four seasons with the Dallas Stars. IN total he has 64 goals and 151 points in 500 career regular season games.

Sceviour is a versatile bottom six forward with the ability to move up and down the lineup if needed. He can play center or the wing and even has some experience on the penalty kill. All in all this is a solid addition for the Oilers at training camp and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up making the team and earning himself a proper contract.
