Trade Alert: Sens ship Wolanin to Kings in one for one swap

This just in, the Ottawa Senators and Los Angeles Kings have hooked up on a one for one swap, with the Sens acquiring forward Mike Amadio from the  Kings in exchange for defenceman Christian Wolanin.

A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Amadio has spent playing time with both the Kings and with Los Angeles' American Hockey League affiliate, the Ontario Reign, in 2020-21 and has registered two points (two assists) over 20 games with the Kings and two points (two assists) over two contests with the Reign. 

Amadio, 24, was selected by the Kings with the team's third-round draft pick (96th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft. Over 168 career NHL games (all of which have occurred with Los Angeles), he has posted 39 points (16 goals, 23 assists) and 26 penalty minutes. He has also tallied one point (one assist) in one NHL post-season game. Amadio has also appeared in 130 career AHL contests (all of which have occurred with the Reign), recording 104 points (35 goals, 69 assists) and 26 penalty minutes.
