The official Stanley Cup final schedule revealed!

On Thursday night, Arturri Lekhonen scored the overtime winner and the Montreal Canadiens beat the Vegas Golden Knights to advance to the Stanley Cup final. 

We are stil awaiting to see which team between the New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning, who are facing tonight in a do-or-die Game 7, is going to battle the Habs for the prestigious trophy, but we already know what the schedule of the last leg of championship is. 

This is the official NHL schedule of the Stanley Cup final: 

Game 1: Mon, June 28, 8 p.m., Canadiens at Lightning/Islanders

Game 2: Wed, June 30, 8 p.m. Canadiens at Lighting/Islanders

Game 3: Fri, July 2, 8 p.m., Lightning/Islanders at Canadiens

Game 4: Mon, July 5, 8 p.m., Lightning/Islanders at Canadiens

Game 5: Wed, July 7, 8 p.m., Canadiens at Lightning/Islanders*

Game 6: Fri, July 9, 8 p.m., Lightning/Islanders at Canadiens*

Game 7: Sun, July 11, 7 p.m., Canadiens at Lightning/Islanders*

It’s been 28 years since the Canadiens have played in the Cup Final. The Canadiens clinched a berth in the title series on home ice for the seventh time since the league expanded in 1966-67, and the first since defeating the Islanders in Game 5 at the Montreal Forum on May 24, 1993.

The Habs advanced to the Eastern Conference final in both 2010 and 2014, but lost out to the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers, respectively.
