Taylor Hall takes fun jab at teammate Marchand after OT winner

On Monday night, Brad Marchand scored 39 seconds into overtime for his Boston Bruins to even their first round series against the Washington Capitals at 1. 

The pesto forward ripped a one-timer past Craig Anderson to send the series back to Boston tied, keeping one of the most exciting matchup of the quarterfinals. 

Speaking of exciting, Marchand’s reaction to his OT winner was nothing less than that as he jumped right into the Bruins’ bench. He was caught by new teammate Taylor Hall, who couldn’t help but take a funny jab at Marchand after the win. 

“He doesn’t weigh a lot and I’ve been lifting a lot lately, so it wasn’t really a problem.”

It is important to note that Marchand actually weights 181 pounds, but hiked up on adrenaline, he is feather-weight! 

The Bruins are hoping to keep this momentum going for Game 3 in Boston on Wednesday night. And we bet Hall would love to lift Marchand up in the air once more in this series.
