The Tampa Bay Lightning continue their summer of celebration after successfully defending their Stanley Cup championship, becoming only the third team to repeat as champions since 1998.

The upcoming season for the Lightning will feature a few noticeable absences from their titles, including the likes of Tyler Johnson, Yanne Gourde, David Savard and Blake Coleman.

However, the team welcomed more than a few new faces. Taking their talents to Florida include Corey Perry, Brian Elliott, Zach Bogosian (again), and Pierre-Édouard Bellemare. And now, Bolts fans know what their new digs will look like on the ice.

The Lightning released the new jersey numbers for their acquisitions earlier today:

Of course, Lightning fans are already a bit used to seeing Perry, as he's suited up against them the past two seasons in the Stanley Cup Finals - first with the Stars last year, and with the upstart Montreal Canadiens this past season. Meanwhile, Bogosian returns to the Lightning after having won the Cup with them in 2020; he spent last year playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Veteran goaltender Elliott is the new backup to reigning Conn Smythe Trophy winner Andrei Vasilevskiy after spending the last handful of seasons with the Flyers, while Bellemare comes aboard after having spent the last two years in the Mile High City with the Colorado Avalanche.

Though the Lightning did indeed take a bit of a hit by losing some key depth, will the new additions that they've made as well as some of the usual suspects enable them to win a 3rd straight title?
