Earlier this week, New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban’s name was placed on the NHL’s COVID-19 list. He entered the league’s protocols on Tuesday, ruling him out for that night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. At the time, the team said Subban’s placement in the protocols was not travel related, so it was unclear exactly how long he’ll be out. However on Friday morning, Subbanator himself confirmed that “Covid all up in his grill right now” and shared a video of him fighting the virus.

Check it out, he posted this video on Friday morning:

Subban missed a second straight game Thursday against the same Penguins and only time will tell when he will be able to return to action.

Matt Tennyson is expected to continue to skate on the  Devils’ top pairing until Subban clears the league’s virus protocols.

We will him all the best and as he says, we wish everyone remains safe.
