According to multiple insider reports, there have been a number of positive COVID-19 test cases amongst members of at least one NHL team. It's believed/hoped however that these positive test cases will be confirmed as false positives. As a result, this/these team(s) have been put on pause until the results can be confirmed.

Check it out:

UPDATE: St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong has confirmed that players on his team have tested positive.

Read the statement below:

We have discovered discrepancies in Covid test results relating to multiple players. We have been in touch with and are working with the League to address these discrepancies with additional testing and expect to have further information later this afternoon.

The League will provide a further update when we have more information. Head Coach Craig Berube and our players will not be available to the media until after tonight's game.

It's expected that at least one other NHL team, as well as several NBA teams are in the same predicament as the Blues.
