According to Matt Keator, player agent for longtime Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara, the 43 year old Chara will have no shortage of options if he elects to continue his NHL career in 2021.

Keator tells NHL insider Pierre LeBrun that more than 20 teams have reached out to him to talk about a potential fit, but that Chara is focused on negotiating with the Bruins.

Check it out:

I have to say... if Chara signs anywhere else than Boston then 2021 may end up even more cursed than 2020. Just imagine Big Z suiting up for a rival like the Montreal Canadiens or Toronto Maple Leafs... I think the Earth might just implode...

Let's get real though... he's re-signing with the Bruins, right? With a shortened training camp and with no preseason games on the schedule this season is tailor made for an experienced professional like Chara. Who better to whip the boys into shape and get things on track early on in the season?
