Report: A lot of “additional compensation” coming to Kraken from side trades

According to a report from Seattle Sports radio host Ian Furness, the Seattle Kraken are expected to receive a "LOT of additional compensation" from side deals to be announced at the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft this evening.

So, if you're like me and you're sitting here looking at the Kraken's picks wondering what they're thinking, well there may be more to things than meets the eye. Some of the Kraken's picks like simply don't make sense to me, but may end up making sense when we see what they received as compensation for making those selections. Stay tuned.
