Penguins had a 3-on-0 in overtime and didn’t get a shot on net!

This came at the most crucial time. 

The Pittsburgh Penguins managed to tie the game 2-2 in the third period against the Boston Bruins and forced overtime to keep their winning streak alive.

And so it was time for sudden-death overtime, and the Penguins got several chances, one that came early on with Evgeni Malkin on a breakaway but when he shot the puck, he caught the crossbar and the game went on. 

But then, the Penguins got the best chance possible when they found themselves on a 3 on 0 with Kris Letang and Malkin leading the way. However, shockingly enough, they did not manage to score.

This is the biggest fail. It felt like Malkin was worried about catching the bar again and wanted Letang to handle the shot, and while they passed goalie Tuukka Rask ended up poking the puck away and keeping his teammates in the game. 

And the Bruins ended up scoring on a 2 on 0. They managed to do it. 

Brutal end to a great winning streak for the Penguins…
