Penguins fans make a mockery of goalie Tristan Jarry after he single-handedly loses series against Isles

The Pittsburgh Penguins' season is officially over following a brutal 5-3 Game 6 loss this evening to the New York Islanders. As a result a long, long, looooong offseason begins for the Penguins' players, coaching staff and management group. It's an offseason that's sure to be full of self-reflection and introspection. One where the team and fans of the team will all be asking themselves, "WTF happened!?!?!"

Well... in short, your goaltender blew it.

26 year old Penguins netminder Tristan Jarry cost his team the game in Game 5 when he coughed up the puck in overtime. There's no denying that. I mean... just watch this flub:

So... how did Jarry fare this evening? Well, you might want to look away Pens fans.

With the game tied 2-2 Jarry let in a remarkable two goals in 13 seconds to essentially seal the fate for the Penguins. Surely head coach Mike Sullivan pulled Jarry in favour of backup Maxime Legace, right?

Nope... he kept Jarry in the net and allowed him to get lit up for an additional goal which ultimately sealed the entire series. The series is now over and the Islanders are set to take on the Boston Bruins in round two. Meanwhile, Jarry is the "victim" of online pranks from what I can only assume is a disgruntled Penguins fan.

Take a look at Jarry's official Wikipedia profile, published before the game even ended:

Brutal. But not nearly as brutal as Jarry's performance in this series.
