Patrik Laine caught chuckling on the ice with rival Steven Stamkos

Not sure this is going to make Columbus Blue Jackets head coach very happy… and it does not take him much to get angry or bench a star player. 

On Tuesday night, the Blue Jackets faced the Tampa Bay Lightning and the camera caught struggling Patrik Laine having a laugh with Bolts’ captain Steven Stamkos. 

Whatever Laine had to tell Stamkos was supposedly important since he took out his mouth piece. Unfortunately, we’re not that great at reading lips… Are you?

The move from Winnipeg to Columbus has been rough on Laine, who’d be on pace for 22 goals over an  a normal 82 game season. 

Good on Laine if he’s able to laugh about it, but we bet Torts and Blue Jackets fans don’t think it’s as funny, especially with Columbus in the midst of a four-game losing skid. 

Not sure they’re laughing about it…
