Goaltender Adin Hill is the new man between the pipes for the San Jose Sharks after the departure of mainstay Martin Jones. And he's already working to endear himself not only to his new city, but to maybe get under the skin of the newest member of the NHL's Pacific Division.

Hill released his eye-popping new mask artwork today, and you'll notice on the backplate that there's an illustration of a shark with tentacles hanging out of its mouth as it enjoys a fresh kill:

Hill was selected with the 76th overall pick by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Draft, and has split his time between the Coyotes and their American Hockey League affiliate Tucson Roadrunners. Last season with Arizona, he appeared in 19 contests while posting a record of 9-9-1 with a 2.74 goals against average and .913 save percentage.

He was traded by the Coyotes, along with the seventh-round pick, to the Sharks in exchange for Josef Korenar and a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft on July 17.

He has a career NHL record of 19-21-4 with a 2.79 goals against average and .909 save percentage.
