This just in, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos did NOT take the pre-game skate for his team's game against the Florida Panthers leading to speculation that he may be injured... yet again.
UPDATE: The Lightning have officially confirmed that Stamkos is out of the lineup with an lower body injury.
This guy just can't catch a break. What was that? 10 or 11 games this season before he hits the doctor's table? In Stamkos' 13 year NHL career he has only managed to play five seasons without sustaining an injury. On at least two occasions he has missed half a season or more.
