The Minnesota Wild gave the Vegas Golden Knights all that they could handle in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs earlier this year, taking Vegas to seven games on the back of a stellar performance in goal from 1st year Wild net minder Cam Talbot

They're now turning their attention to the upcoming season, and have already made two significant changes on the ice, buying out the bloated contracts of both Ryan Suter and Zach Parise, who were unable to deliver on the franchise's vision of a Stanley Cup victory when they shocked the hockey world by signing them both in the summer of 2012.

The new look Wild will be hitting the ice this fall with a six-game preseason schedule, which will kick off on Sept. 25 with a matchup against the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center. They'll also be taking on the Colorado Avalanche and Chicago Blackhawks.

The full schedule can be viewed below:

Saturday, Sept. 25: Minnesota Wild @ St. Louis Blues, 7:00 PM

Thursday, Sept. 30: Minnesota Wild @ Colorado Avalanche, 8:00 PM
