Milan Lucic and the Calgary Flames did not take part in the postseason, however, this has not prevented the gritty forward from reminiscing the good old days when he was once champion.

On Friday, Lucic celebrated the Boston Bruins’ 10-year anniversary of the 2011 Stanley Cup (on June 15th more specifically), when the B’s beat the Canucks in Vancouver in a Game 7 shutout to hoist the precious trophy. In the hours following the game at Rogers Arena, rioters caused more than $5 million in damage to buildings and vehicles in the downtown core.

Lucic only remembers the good times with his former teammates and dedicated this weird video of him chugging two beers in front of the Rogers Arena in a custom Lucci shirt…

That guy. Check it out:

Unfortunately for the Bruins, they have not won another Stanley Cup since this triumph over Vancouver. They came close a few times, though, losing in six games to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013 and losing a Game 7 at home in 2019 to the St. Louis Blues.

Lucic was long gone for the finals against the Blues, as he was moved to the Los Angeles Kings (after they won two championships), then to the Edmonton Oilers, and now, he’s in Calgary.

Let’s hope the Bruins players from the 2011 crew appreciated this video, because, you have to admit, not a whole lot of effort went into it.
