Marc-Andre Fleury shockingly returns to team after being placed on protocol list yesterday!

On Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights were forced to place their star goalie Marc-Andre Fleury on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list. On Friday, his teammate Ryan Reaves revealed that the netminder had tested positive to COVID-19, which was stressful for the rest of the roster.

However, the Golden Knights surprised everyone later on Friday with the news that the team experienced a false positive COVID test in St. Louis yesterday. Fleury has been removed from the NHL’s COVID Protocol list and has rejoined the team.

Fleury last suited up in the Golden Knights’ 4-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, allowing all four goals on 29 shots.

The veteran goalie has been on fire, posting a 17-12-5 record with a minuscule 1.73 goals-against average and sterling .938 save percentage.

He is even expected to get the start later tonight against the St. Louis Blues.

We bet the Knights are thrilled to have him back!
