The Toronto Maple Leafs made the decision to start Jack Campbell in the crease for their Stanley Cup playoffs matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, and while he played well during the series, it was the fateful Game 7 that did him and the Leafs in.

For the 17th straight season, the Leafs failed to win a playoff series. But according to Campbell, the team is using the painful setback as motivation.

"The end [last year] sticks out the most, but that's what fuels us. You take something that's a negative thing but you can turn it into fuel for the summer and I think that's what you're going to see right away, that level of desire."

Campbell will be looking to build upon his stellar 17-3-2 record last season that saw him record a  2.15 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.
