The Toronto Maple Leafs have gotten another trade done right at the wire.

According to a breaking news report from National Hockey League insider Elliotte Friedman, the Maple Leafs have acquired veteran defenseman Ben Hutton from the Ducks, right at the buzzer.

No word yet on what the Ducks will be getting in the return for Hutton, but I suspect it won't be very much.

In my opinion this is purely a depth addition on the part of the Maple Leafs. Hutton has appeared in 34 games for the Ducks this season and has been relatively mediocre during that stretch of play. He has 1 goal and 4 assists for a combined total of 5 points over his 34 games played in this regular season, and currently sits at a plus minus rating of -13.

Update: It looks like it will be a fifth round draft selection heading back the other way.

Stay tuned for the full details.
