The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that rookie forward Nick Robertson has been removed from the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list.

Check it out:

Robertson was in protocol for just a day and it's believed that he never actually tested positive for COVID-19. He had played 14 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies though who had confirmed cases on their roster. Because Robertson had come into contact with those who had tested positive, he was forced to quarantine until he could provide enough negative tested cases to confirm that he's safe to re-join the Leafs.

The 19 year old has played three games for the Leafs this season, going pointless. He did put up three goals and 10 points in his 14 games with the Marlies, however. This kid is an offensive dynamo, having led the OHL with 55 goals and 86 points in just 46 games last season.
