Leafs confirm the worst on rookie Rasmus Sandin's injury

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced earlier today that rookie defenceman Rasmus Sandin suffered a fractured bone in foot and will be out of the tema's lineup until mid-March at the earliest.

As a follow up on Marlies defenceman Rasmus Sandin’s injury which he suffered last Monday (Feb. 15), further evaluation has confirmed he has a fracture in his foot. He will be re-evaluated in mid-March and the club will offer a further update at that time

The 20 year old Sandin, who was selected 29th overall in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, has one assist in his single game with the Leafs this season.
