Almost all of Kraken's roster gets revealed:
HF

It looks like the Seattle Kraken expansion draft is happening on Twitter at the moment.

Frank Seravalli of Daily Off has been quite active since this morning, leaking several of the Kraken’s picks ahead of tonight’s expansion draft.

The ball started rolling when he was confirmed by many insiders that the Montreal Canadiens will not lose goalie Carey Price to the Kraken, he would chose to be left unprotected in order to see his backup Jake Allen stay in Montreal.

Insiders released the info that Price would stay in Montreal and other players were then reported as being now part of the Kraken’s roster.

That is the case for Calgary Flames’ captain and veteran defenseman Mark Giordano. Salim Nadim Valji reported the news as Seravalli has been taking care of the rest.

This is what Seravalli has reported so far as being the Kraken’s picks ahead of tonight’s expansion draft

The three goalies selected by the Kraken are expected to be Chris Driedger (FLA), Vitek Vanecek (WSH) and Joey Daccord (OTT).

He also believes the Kraken will pick forward Jared McCann over Alex Kerfoot from the Toronto Maple Leafs, and prospect Kole Lind from the Vancouver Canucks.

GM Ron Francis has also zeroed in on Brandon Tanev from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

As for his former team, the Carolina Hurricanes, it is believed that Francis has his eyes on Morgan Geekie, a player he picked in 2017.

When it comes to the Los Angeles Kings, it sounds like the Kraken is going after defenseman Kurtis MacDermid. As for the Anaheim Ducks, it is Haydn Fleury who was selected. Yes, Cale's brother. Isn't that cute?

It sounds like the Kraken will pick Yanni Gourde from the champions Tampa Bay Lightning, who was forced to let him unprotected to get under cap, however, nothing has been set in stone at the moment.

Earlier this morning, it was also reported that the Kraken has signed defenseman Adam Larsson. The former Edmonton Oilers defenceman has signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the expansion franchise. The Kraken apparently has also offered a deal to Jamie Oleksiak (Dallas Stars).

Seravalli also reported that the Kraken will pass up on Vladimir Tarasenko of the St. Louis Blues and will go after Vince Dunn. Great pick. However quite the surprise to see that Seattle is expected to take Carsen Twarynski of the Philadelphia Flyers, which is quite a surprise.

Another milder surprise is the pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets as everyone expected Seattle to leave with Max Domi. However, Seravalli reveals that the Kraken is set on defenseman Gavin Bayreuther from Columbus.

Andy Strickland revealed that the Kraken is set on taking Joonas Donskoi from the Colorado Avalanche.

Darren Dreger also posted that the Winnipeg Jets will lose Mason Appleton to the Kraken, while Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports that the Kraken preserved more valuable cap space by passing on Ryan Johansen and Matt Duchene in Nashville. They will select Calle Järnkrok instead.

Jordan Eberle would be selected from the New York Islanders.
