In case you missed it this past weekend, the Pittsburgh Penguins acquired veteran sniper Jeff Carter from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a couple of conditional draft picks.

Check it out:

But make no mistake, Pens fans... the 36 year old Carter is no playoff rental. This trade won't be a one and done. Carter met with the media earlier today and was asked about his plans for next season. Will he play out the final year of his $5.2 million per season contract or will he pack it in and retire?

Carter has made one thing clear, in his own words he's "all in."

Here's hoping he can turn the clock back a bit and re-energize his career. The two time Stanley Cup champion has just eight goals and 19 points in 40 games with the Kings this season but he's a former regular 20+ goal and 60+ point producer.
