Despite holding a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry did not take the ice for his team's game this evening against the New York Islanders in the second period. Taking his spot is backup Casey DeSmith. Taxi squad and AHL netminder Emil Larmi is now dressed and on the bench in the backup position.

As for Jarry though... no one is quite sure what's wrong with him. The Penguins' official Twitter account did send out a cryptic message saying that head coach Mike Sullivan would update Jarry's status post game.

Stay tuned, Pens fans.
