The Philadelphia Flyers might have won 5-2 over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, it didn’t make forward Jakub Voracek more pleased to get a question from reporter Mike Sielski of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Sielski had a question for Voracek, asking him how different this season felt two games in if at all, and the forward was not having any of this post-game question.
Voracek stunned everyone present on the call, including his teammate Travis Konecny sitting next to him at the media table, by flipping out at the reporter, calling him a weasel who writes shit. Konecny was doing his best to hold it together.
“It doesn’t matter what I say, Mike, you’re going to write sh*t every time, so it doesn’t matter what you say.”
Voracek then took a breath and attempted to answer the question nonetheless.
“Yeah, it feels different, I mean, we got four points out of our first two games…”
He couldn’t finish his sentence.
“I wasn’t even going to answer your question because you’re such a weasel, it’s not even funny. Next question.”
