In case you missed it last night the Vancouver Canucks earned themselves a much needed big win, putting up a touchdown on the Ottawa Senators for a 7-1 victory. It was a game full of hits, highlights and high drama. Veteran Canucks forward Brandon Sutter scored his first career hat trick, Thatcher Demko finally brought some stability in goal and Quinn Hughes finally bumped his slump.

On the Senators' side... well at least Austin Watson came to play...

Despite some relatively uninspired play from his teammates, Watson tried willing his team to compete by dropping the gloves not only once, but twice during the game. While the intended effect never took off, you have to give the guy a stick tap for trying to fire up the boys.

Not exactly highlight reel scraps, but again you have to give credit where credit is due.

Things didn't exactly go perfectly for the Canucks, though. The team's top line of Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller continued to struggle, generating little offence. And if you think these guys just don't care... well check out the F-Bomb parade that Miller served up when he missed a pass:

The good old hockey game...
