Huge 3-way trade between the Golden Knights, Flyers and Predators.

A monster of a trade.

We have a huge trade to announce.

According to multiple reports the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers and the Las Vegas Golden Knights have orchestrated a massive trade that will no doubt drastically alter the plans of the Seattle Kraken headed into this week's expansion draft. Really this seems to be two trades that were pulled off at the same time, but at the very least the Predators had to have had all of the pieces up in the air at the same time to make this one happen.

First, the Predators have sent veteran defenseman Ryan Ellis to the Flyers in exchange for both forward Nolan Patrick and defenseman Philippe Myers, a huge trade in its own right. This move will now allow the Flyers to protect forward James van Riemsdyk in the expansion draft, primarily by moving out Nolan, and will of course prevent the Predators from having to protect Ellis in the draft as well.

The second part of the deal sees the Predators flip Patrick, the former first round pick the just acquired from the Flyers, to the Las Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for their own former first round pick in the form of forward Cody Glass

Lots to digest here and we're still waiting for all the details to come in on this one so stay tuned for more.
