This just in, four players have hit the NHL waiver wire this afternoon with Dallas Stars forward Tanner Kero, Florida Panthers defenceman Tommy Cross, Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Mark Friedman and Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Luke Schenn all up for grabs.

All players are veteran depth options, so there's a possibility of a waiver claim but don't expect any of these guys to make a real impact on the ice. Of the group probably Schenn is the most notable and he has just a single point in 14 games with the Lightning so far this season.
