According to a report from Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman, the Arizona Coyotes are set to hire former NHLer Cory Stillman in an assistant coaching role for the upcoming 2021 season.

Check it out:

Stillman had been head coach of the OHL's Sudbury Wolves for the past three seasons.

He put up 278 goals and 727 points in 1025 NHL games split between the Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers. Prior to Pat Maroon winning back to back Stanley Cup championships with the Blues and Lightning in 2019 and 2020, Stillman was the last NHL player to win back to back Stanley Cups with different teams having done so with the Lightning in 2004 and the Hurricanes in 2006. The 2005 season, of course, was cancelled due to the NHL lockout.

Stillman joins a coaching staff in Arizona full of former NHlers including head coach Rick Tocchet and assistant coaches Phil Housley and John McLean.
