The Vegas Golden Knights got hammered in Game 1 of their second-round series against the Colorado Avalanche as star goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had the night off to recuperate from the seven-contest series against the Minnesota Wild.

For Game 2, Flower was back in net and the game was tight, so tight, it needed overtime. However, Fleury couldn’t stop Mikko Rantanen and the Avalanche took a brutal 2-0 lead in the series.

While Flower might have been deflated after the loss, one of his biggest fans, his 5-year-old daughter Scarlett wrote him a heartwarming note that he sure to get Fleury going for Game 3 in Vegas tonight.

Last nite you made me happy Dad. You stop pucks and that made me proud Dad. I love you. Keep stopping the pucks. In my hart you are the best goly,” she wrote with an adorable drawing.

We have no doubt that this heartwarming letter will get Fleury going for tonight’s matchup, on top of the Vegas’ fanbase pumped to cheer him on.

We just love the support and the motivation she gives her father to keep going.
