Ex-Red Wing Riley Sheahan makes history again

This one will certainly go down as one of the great trivia questions for hockey as the years go by - who scored the final goal at the historic Joe Louis Arena on April 9, 2017? 

Of course, the answer is Riley Sheahan. What's ironic about that is he went the entire season without lighting the lamp once, and yet did so twice - not only in the final game of the regular season, but also in the history of Detroit's iconic home since 1979. 

Sheahan now has another historical footnote in his career. He's currently a member of the NHL expansion Seattle Kraken, and he's scored the very first goal in their existence (despite being the preseason):
