Elliotte Friedman predicts where these coveted free agents will end up
HF

FREE AGENCY SEASON opens in a few hours and one of the best insiders of there, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, had fun making predictions on where some of the most coveted free agents of the offseason will end up.

Teams are looking to bolster their respective roster ahead of the 2021-22 season, however with the flattened salary cap and the tough competition out there, good decisions need to be made.

They might want to see what Friedman predicts for the free agency, as players can sign starting at noon today as free agents. Here are his predictions:

Dougie Hamilton: New Jersey
David Savard: Montreal
Blake Coleman: the prediction is, he gets 6x5
Brandon Saad: St. Louis, Islanders, Pittsburgh or Los Angeles
Kyle Palmieri: haven’t heard a thing, which means the Islanders probably have him locked up
Phillip Danault: Los Angeles takes a surprise look
Alec Martinez: stays in Vegas
Alex Goligoski: Minnesota
Derek Forbort: Boston
Zach Hyman: Edmonton. Makes me feel I’m getting one right
Ryan Suter: Dallas

Let’s see what happens today!
