Sports brethren stick together, especially in one of the greatest sports cities in the United States.
Earlier this afternoon, Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera became just the 28th player in Major League Baseball history to hit 500 home runs, accomplishing the feat against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto.
It wasn't long before the Red Wings took to social media to offer their own congratulations to the future Hall of Fame slugger:
