In case you missed it last night, the Vegas Golden Knights dropped Game 2 of their best of seven semi finals series against the Montreal Canadiens, losing 3-2. The series is now tied at one game apiece with the series turning to Montreal for Games 3 and 4.

And when the series does shift North, there's going to be a significant change in atmosphere at the rink. I mean... Vegas is standing room only with more than 18,000 screaming fans in attendance. Montreal, though? They'll have 3,500 fans in attendance... not quite the same. Now, in all fairness 3,500 Habs fans at the Bell Centre will sound a lot louder than 3,500 fans in most other NHL buildings but... well it won't bet 18,000 Vegas fans.

And just how fired up are fans in Vegas?

Check it out:

If that doesn't fire you up, I don't know what will. Still, Golden Knights head coach Peter DeBoer felt it necessary to give himself a boost prior to puck drop in Game 2. Check him out absolutely ripping a smelling salt with Alex Tuch and William Carrier:

Anything to gain an edge, eh coach!?
