Crosby gives his stick to Dumoulin, grabs one off the bench while on the 2-on-1 and scores
Give the equipment manager an assist!

Sidney Crosby, at 33 years old, continues to find ways to impress.
In last night's 2-1 shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins' captain managed to score a rebound goal despite not having a stick for the majority of the play. Say what?!
Let me break it down for you a bit...
Crosby sees that defenceman Brian Dumoulin is without a stick, so he lends the fellow lefty his own twig. After all, a defenceman without a stick in the defensive zone is practically useless. Crosby recognizes this and makes the quick sacrifice. As the play heads up ice though Crosby recognizes the opportunity for a 2 on 1 chance with Kris Letang so he makes a beeline for the bench, picks up a stick from the Penguins equipment manager Jon Taglienetti in full flight and buries Letang's rebound for the opening goal of the game.

Incredible. Just when you thought Sid the Kid couldn't show us anything new. Give the assist to Taglienetti!
