We all know how fast Connor McDavid is. And the Edmonton Oilers’ captain is not going to play it down, even with his teammates.
On Thursday, the Oilers held their first day of training camp in Edmonton and players were put to the test with speed drills and skating sprints.
Insiders and pundits started posting videos of McDavid having no mercy for his teammates as they lined up to take the drill. He skated way faster than anyone else out there, making them look like turtles.
McDavid doesn’t even look like he’s trying like the rest of the team already looks out of breath. The guy is impressive!
As you can see in the video here below, at times, McDavid is ahead of his teammates by a full length of the rink and keeps going only to leave them in his snow dust.
Cannot wait to see what he brings to the Oilers this season.
