Columbus moves pick for Jones’ trade to acquire Jake Bean from Carolina

We finally know what was involved in the Seth Jones trade that sends him to the Chicago Blackhawks. 

Chicago acquires Jones, the 32nd overall pick in this draft and a 2022 6th round pick in return for Adam Boqvist, 12th overall pick, 2022 1st round pick, 2021 2nd round pick.

That latter pick, this 2nd rounder, was used right away in another trade as the Columbus Blue Jackets acquired defenseman Jake Bean from the Carolina Hurricanes. 

Bean is a 23-year-old blue liner. He was drafted 13th overall by the Hurricanes in the 2016 NHL Draft. In 44 game last season, Bean scored one goal and added 11 assists.
