Oh boy... you've got to feel for Erik Cernak.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman just made a giant mistake in Game 3 of his team's best of seven series against the New York Islanders, essentially scoring on his own net and pulling the Isles even 1-1 in the game.

Here's how it played out: Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky makes a save, but has trouble with the rebound. A bit of a scramble ensues and Cernak tries to play the puck back into Vasilevsky so that the goaltender can get a stoppage in play. The only problem is that both Cernak and Vasilevsky fumble it and the puck ends up going between Vasilevsky's legs and into the goal.

Ouch... you gotta feel for the guy.

But fear not, Bolts fans! Just moments later the Islanders would take a penalty and Brayden Point would reclaim the lead for the Lightning on the powerplay. Game on.
