Canucks look to get Sedin twins back for roles within the organization!

The Vancouver Canucks are playing meaningless games at the moment, but it sounds like they could be about to make meaningful announcements in the near future.

A majority of the Canucks’ fanbase has been calling for the organization to move on from general manager Jim Benning and it sounds like the franchise may be looking to completely rebuild its management group.

Then, an exciting rumour was dropped by TSN’s Darren Dreger on Tuesday. He revealed that “Canucks ownership is involved in ongoing discussions with Henrik and Daniel Sedin about potential roles within the organization.”

Can you imagine having the Twins back in Vancouver? This would be the breath of fresh air the Canucks desperately need to get back on track for the 2021-22 season!

Originally drafted by the Canucks with the 2nd and 3rd overall picks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the Sedin twins would end up playing over 2600 combined games with the organization and it would just make sense for them to lead the way to a better future.

The Canucks wrap up their regular season on Wednesday against the Calgary Flames and currently sit last in the North Division with a 22-28-4 record.
