This just in, the NHL has pushed back the start time of tonight's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens game by an hour from 7pm ET to 8pm ET in order to allow more time for the league to review COVID-19 test results.

Check it out:

This comes just a day after the NHL faced severe fan backlash for allowing the Vegas Golden Knights and Anaheim Ducks to play on Tuesday evening, despite the fact that all of the players hadn't had their daily test results confirmed. As luck would have it, Golden Knights forward Tomas Nosek's test results came back during the 2nd period of that game and sure enough he tested positive. In effect, the NHL rolled the dice on Nosek and they lost. Tonight's rescheduling is clearly an attempt to address further situations like this.
