The first period between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers got messy on Friday, and Connor Clifton had enough.

He decided to drop the gloves with Nicolas Aube-Kubel and ended up feeding lunch to the Flyers’ forward with heavy blow!

Check it out, from all angles:

While Clifton and Aube-Kubel were fighting in one corner, many more Bruins were getting involved which resulted in four Bruins, including Clifton, getting sent to the box.

Chris Wagner got two for roughing Travis Sanheim and Flyers’ Travis Konecny got two for interference. Moments later, both Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo joined their Bruins’ teammates in the tight penalty box for minors. Packed like sardines!

This tight game is nasty, and that’s how Bruins and Flyers fans love it!
