Although the Bruins are currently sitting in a relatively comfortable position, holding down the fourth place spot in the National Hockey League's East Division with both games in hand and a significant lead in points over the New York Rangers, every game down the stretch will be of huge importance for this team as they look to secure that spot for good.

With that in mind Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy made several changes to his lineup on Saturday ahead of the team's afternoon matchup against, as Bruins broadcaster Jack Edwards put it, "The NHL's version of a dumpster fire," the the lowly Buffalo Sabres.

Stepping into the lineup this evening will be forward Jake DeBrusk who was previously made a healthy scratch for two consecutive games, an obvious attempt on the part of the Bruins coaching staff to light a fire under a player they have very high expectations of. DeBrusk will replace forward Trent Frederic in the lineup this evening which means that Frederic will be the one left watching from the sidelines this time around.

Cassidy also indicated that Karson Kuhlman would enter the lineup this afternoon to replace veteran Chris Wagner, and added that the red hot Jeremy Swayman would be getting another start with veteran goaltender Jaroslav Halak filling the backup role for today's game against the Sabres.
