Wow… we bet Edmonton Oilers’ Jujhar Khaira had no clue where he was at, let alone on the ice playing against the Calgary Flames…

On Monday, the NHL had another go at the Battle of Alberta and, like always, the intensity and animosity were there.

It all started when Khaira delivered a brutal hit to the head of Flames’ Oliver Kylington. There’s little argument that this was a direct blow to the head, and although Kylington’s body position played a role in the hit catching him up high, this one could almost certainly have been avoided.

But the Flames weren’t happy… especially teammate Brett Ritchie. The veteran dropped the gloves with Khaira less than midway through the game’s very first period and this is a fight that the Oilers’ forward won’t remember.

But we certainly will! Ritchie’s one-timer on Khaira’s jaw is so brutal, there is no way the Oiler knew what happened afterwards.

You can see in his eyes he most likely suffered a concussion, and needed help to get off the ice to receive treatment.

Wow, this is a fight that isn’t easy to watch. You’ve been warned:
