The Detroit Red Wings are almost guaranteed to be a seller at this season’s trade deadline and on Tuesday night’s edition of Insider Trading on TSN, Frank Seravalli revealed who might be on the block in Hockey Town.

And get ready, a lot of players have landed on the market as Detroit is going for a blowout trade sale. Here is how Seravalli explained it:

“I think teams are beginning to look at three potential targets from the Detroit Red Wings. All veteran presences, including Bobby Ryan, Luke Glendening and, on the back end, Marc Staal. Glendening leads the league in face off percentage. Bobby Ryan is scoring on a contract that every team could fit and Staal would certainly provide that experience on the backend that teams crave come playoff time. Just another way of saying that all three of those guys you can expect to see on the Trade Bait board when it debuts next week.”

There are of course some untouchables in Detroit, first who comes to mind is captain Dylan Larkin, however, even Anthony Mantha’s name has come up in trade chatter last week, per Sportsnet.

It sounds like a lot of players could be placed on the market ahead of the spring’s deadline and we are wondering how the Red Wings’ rebuild will look like once pieces are out and picks and prospects on their way.

April 12 is fast approaching and clearly, GM Steve Yzerman is putting the word out that he’s looking for buyers.
