The NHL and Adidas announced a league-wide jersey change earlier today, introducing Adidas ADIZERO Primegreen jerseys for all 32 teams.

From Adidas:

"Adidas ADIZERO Primegreen jerseys, made with a minimum of 50% recycled content while still retaining their high-performance materials. The new jerseys will be worn by all 32 teams on the ice beginning with the start of the 2021-22 regular season two weeks from now."
“Each team jersey will maintain its classic stripping and logo, while boasting dimensional embroidery that draws attention to their sustainable materials, and a two-layer twill that underscores the product’s authenticity.”

While we're always for recycling and more "green" solutions, the thing that really catches my attention is the "dimensional embroidery" that Adidas alludes to. What does it mean exactly?

I'll be honest, I haven't bought a jersey in a few years now but this new feature has got me thinking about putting in an order for the holiday season. Thoughts?
