The Las Vegas Golden Knights will get a much needed boost in their second round series against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night with several key players set to make their return to the lineup.

The big news of the night is of course the return of veteran National Hockey League enforcer Ryan Reaves to the lineup. Reaves was of course suspended 2 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for an incident stemming from Game 1 of this series, one in which he roughed up Avalanche dfensema nRyan Graves after delivering a cross check to the head of Avalanche goaltender Philipp Grubauer.

Also coming back for the Avalanche tonight will be veteran defenseman Brayden McNabb, another significant addition to the lineup for Vegas. McNabb wasn't suspended but was instead forced onto the sidelines due to the NHL's Covid Protocols, but it would appear given his presence on the ice during warmups tonight that he has been taken off the list and has been cleared to play by the league.

Last and in this case probably least will be the return of veteran goaltender Robin Lehner. Although Lehner has been a vital part of the Golden Knights lineup at times, the same can't really be said of his presence on the team this season. Lehner missed a significant amount of time in the regular season which has made goaltender Marc Andre Fleury the undisputed #1 goaltender in the Vegas net, and his one playoff appearance for the Golden Knights saw him get completely shelled by the Avalanche in the first game of this series.
