According to Sportsnet’s insider Elliotte Friedman, an additional 12 players have been placed on waivers today following yesterday’s 12-player were and Wednesday’s historic day in which 30 players were placed on waivers.
Without further ado, here’s the list of players up for grabs today:
Milano (ANA); Davidson (BUF); Gilbert, Megna (COL); Borgman (DAL); Renouf, Witkowski (DET); De Leo (NJ); Chaput, Rikola (PIT); Meloche (SJ); Dries (VAN).
It appears that no one else from yesterday has been claimed however, still per Friedman:
Sonny Milano, placed on waivers today by the Anaheim Ducks, is gathering the most attention. He is a former first round pick, selected 16th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets back in 2014.
He could benefit from a second chance and a change of scenery as some teams out there are still looking at depth options up front for the 2021-22 season.
Let's keep an eye on the list until tomorrow's deadline.
